McKinley After-School Program

The St. Louis Public School District and the Community Music School of Webster University have partnered to offer individual lessons after school for voice and band instruments at McKinley High School. This program is designed to support and supplement the existing music programs in the school. Students participating in the program receive weekly lessons throughout the school year and perform on an end of the year recital.

Enrollment is limited and will be accommodated pending available funding and scheduling arrangements. The number of student participants will impact teacher availability.

$263 each 14-week semester (represents a 48% discount off regular CMS tuition)

  • Students participating in this program are expected to practice regularly to prepare weekly assignments.
  • Students are expected to participate for the full school year, including two 14-week sessions.
  • Students with multiple absences may be replaced with students who demonstrate commitment to the program through regular attendance.
